Academics

Our primary goal at IBC is to help our athletes achieve their goals of playing varsity baseball, and eventually playing collegiately.

To accomplish this, athletes must possess athletic prowess, as well as academic success.

Our athletes must maintain academic eligibility throughout their season with IBC, not just during high school baseball season.

We also provide athletes with opportunities to work with college coaches and recruiters to understand what they are looking for in recruiting.

Utilizing the NCAAs College Bound Student Athlete guide, players are provided valuable insight to what it requires to play collegiate baseball.

The advantages of competing in college sports are both immediate and lifelong. Participating in college sports provides opportunities to learn, compete and succeed.

This guide equips you with information about academic requirements to compete and what to expect as a collegiate student-athlete. At the NCAA national office, staff members want to ensure high school athletes meet standards that will best prepare them to succeed in college.

Preparing for all levels of collegiate baseball is important. With an expanding transfer portal and shrinking number of recruited underclassmen, keep all levels of baseball open is a must!
